Bitcoin headed for a hundred thousand dollars, cryptocurrency price crosses $97,000 for the first time
New Delhi| The price of bitcoin hit close to $100,000 on Thursday. For the first time, its price crossed the $97,000 level. On Thursday, it was seen trading at the level of 97,394 for the first time with a gain of 3.19%.
Investors predict that the re-elected presidential election will prove positive from the US regulatory perspective for cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin prices hit above $97,000 for the first time in Asia trade.
Cryptocurrencies have more than doubled in price this year and have surged nearly 40% in the two weeks since Trump was elected as the next U.S. president and pro-crypto lawmakers in Congress. “While it’s now entirely in the overbot area, it can get a million dollar level”, said Tony Sycamore, an analyst at IG Markets.
