First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia met PM Narendra Modi in Delhi

New Delhi| Russia’s first Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov visited India. He met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The two leaders exchanged views on enhancing cooperation in various fields including trade and economic relations, energy, connectivity.

It is heartening to see teams from both sides working together to implement the decisions taken during my recent visits and meetings with President Putin to further strengthen the India-Russia special and privileged strategic partnership
According to the statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), PM Narendra Modi welcomed the implementation of the decisions taken during his recent visits and meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin to further strengthen the India-Russia Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership. Has welcomed the continuous and joint efforts being made. Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov and Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar will co-chair the 25th session of the India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation on November 12 (Tuesday).
PM Narendra Modi participated in the BRICS summit held under the chairmanship of Moscow in Kazan City, Russia in October. PM Modi addressed two sessions during the summit. Along with this, PM Modi had described the summit as successful. The PM had thanked President Vladimir Putin, the people of Russia and his government for their welcome and hospitality.
