Ingredients for making Paneer Tikka Masala
1. Cheese – 200 grams (cut into cubes)
2. Yogurt – 1 cup

Spices for curd-
1. Ginger-garlic paste 1 tsp
2. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
3. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
4. Garam masala 1/4 tsp
5. Coriander powder 1/2 tsp
6. Cumin powder 1/4 teaspoon
7. Salt as per taste
8. Oil – 2-3 teaspoons
9. Onions – 1 (finely chopped)
10. Tomatoes – 2 (finely chopped)
11, Garlic cloves – 4-5 (finely chopped)
12. Ginger – 1 inch (grated)
13. Red chili powder – 1/2 teaspoon
14. Coriander powder – 1/2 teaspoon
15. Garam masala – 1/4 teaspoon
16. Coriander leaves – finely chopped (for garnish)
17. Cream – 2-3 tsp (optional)

Method to make Paneer Tikka Masala
1. Add cheese cubes to a bowl. Add curd, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder and salt and mix well. Let the cheese marinate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds in it. When cumin seeds start crackling, add onion to it and fry until it turns golden. Now add garlic and ginger to it and fry a little.
3. Now add tomatoes to it and cook until the tomatoes become soft. Grind the mixture in a blender to make a smooth paste.
4. Pour the ground mixture back into the pan. Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and some water to it and boil it.
5. When the gravy thickens, add marinated cheese. Cook on low flame for five minutes.
6. Finally, turn off the gas and add cream and mix well. Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves on top.

Special tips
1. If you like spicy then you can increase the amount of red chilli powder.
2. If you are a vegetarian then you can also use tofu or vegetables instead of cheese.
3. You can also add other vegetables like carrots, peas etc. as per your choice.
