New Delhi| The world’s leading chip manufacturer Nvidia will create artificial intelligence (AI) related computing infrastructure in India in collaboration with Mukesh Ambani’s company Reliance Industries. An agreement has been made to create an innovation center in this direction. Reliance Industries’ new data center will use the latest Nvidia Blackwell AI chips.

Nvidia already has a presence in six locations in India. The partnership between Reliance and Nvidia aims to build a strong AI infrastructure in India. Ambani believes that this will not only increase local capabilities, but will also establish India as an important player in the global intelligence market. “India will start with the best product from Nvidia”, Ambani said.
Huang told a press conference in Mumbai that this partnership also includes creating applications that Reliance can make available to consumers in India. “Under this alliance we will also open an innovation center”, he said However, he did not give any details of the size of the infrastructure to be built.

“India is already a world leader in designing chips, Nvidia chips are designed here in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune”, Huang said. One third of Nvidia is Indian, maybe even more.”
During a fireside chat, Ambani said that India is on the threshold of a new intelligence era and will surprise the world with its achievements in intelligence technology in the coming years. He said that new technologies like AI and people’s aspirations are taking the Indian economy forward. Ambani said, “We are at the doorstep of the new intelligence era”. India will be one of the largest intelligence markets. It’s not just our aspiration, but the raw gene power that will help advance intelligence.”

“India will not only give CEOs to the world, but will also provide AI services”, Ambani said. He said that apart from the United States and China, India has the best digital connectivity framework with an extensive network of 4 G, 5 G and broadband services.
He said Reliance Jio is the largest data company globally and provides data at a low cost of 15 cents per GB, compared to $5 per GB in the US. “As we did in terms of data, in a few years we will be surprising the world by showing what Indians can achieve in the field of intelligence”, Ambani said.
