Mahakumbh-2025: The grand event to be held under the supervision of ATS, Commando Squad and STF

Prayagraj| Yogi government is taking forward the preparations at a fast pace for the world’s largest cultural-religious event ‘Mahakumbh-2025’. In view of this, tight security arrangements are being made for Mahakumbh. Security of water, land and sky in the fair area is being made foolproof. In such a situation, Yogi government has decided to deploy sniper, NSG commando, commando squad, ATS, STF, BDDS and sniffer dog etc.

Mahakumbh Fair SSP Rajesh Dwivedi said that Mahakumbh is the biggest event and center of faith in the whole world. In such a situation, special guests including 40 crore devotees from all over the world will come to Mahakumbh. Keeping this in mind, security arrangements are being tightened. Under this, special forces will be deployed in entire Prayagraj, fair area, major places, temples and Sangam.

He told that diplomats from many countries will participate in the Mahakumbh. In such a situation, anti drone system will be used. At the same time, bullet proof out posts will be made at many places in the fair area. This post will be made at all the entry, exit points, parking lots, major temples and other places in the fair area. Apart from this, 2 contingents of NSG commandos and 26 AS Check team will be deployed.

SSP informed that 4 contingents of ATS commandos and 3 contingents of STF will be deployed in the fair area. Not only this, 6 teams of Bomb Search and Disposal Squad BDDS will also be present. 20 snipers, 3 sniffer dogs, 4 swon crews will be deployed to protect the distinguished guests. Along with this, teams of 30 spotters will also be deployed. Members of these teams will be deployed across the city. At the same time, the team of 9 Commando Squad will keep watch every nook and corner.

He told that devotees will take a dip in the Sangam during Mahakumbh. For this, 2 contingents of Uttarakhand PAC will be deployed at Sangam. This contingent of Uttarakhand PAC closely understands the underwater activities and is also very expert, hence they will be deployed near the Sangam. This team will have one DSP, 4 Inspectors, 20 Sub Inspectors, 35 Head Constables and 65 Constables.
