Varanasi| Two major changes have been made in the arrangements of Lord Vishwanath Dham. Now devotees have to buy a ticket of Rs 250 instead of Rs 300 for easy darshan. At the same time, devotees will now be able to get 200 grams of laddu for only Rs 120.

Vishwabhushan Mishra, CEO of Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, said that there has been no change in the value of whatever Prasad is sold in the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust premises. Earlier, sweets sold in the city were sold here as Prasad. Regarding the purity, cleanliness and sanctity of the Prasad, Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust decided that the Prasad would be self made.

The temple administration itself is getting Prasad manufactured in the food processing unit of cooperative sector institute Banaras Dairy. Prasad is being made by mixing Belpatra powder offered to Lord Shiva. According to the new rate list, devotees will now be able to get 200 grams of laddu for only Rs 120.
