The security arrangements of Mahakumbh to be impenetrable through AI CCTV
Lucknow| Special arrangements are being made for the safety of the devotees coming to Mahakumbh. On one hand, Uttar Pradesh Police will keep an eye on every nook and corner. On the other hand, preparations are underway to further strengthen the security system through technology. AI (Artificial Intelligence) based CCTV cameras will play the most important role in the security system. Yogi government will install more than 2,500 CCTVs across the city. These also include AI based CCTV cameras, which will be directly connected to the control room.
Fair officer Vijay Kiran Anand said that the CM had instructed the officials to complete all the work by December 15. Instructions were also given to strengthen the security arrangements to ensure that the devotees do not face any inconvenience during the Mahakumbh. After this, development works have gained more momentum.
On the instructions of CM Yogi, work is going on to install hi-tech 2,750 CCTVs to make the security system impenetrable in the entire city. AI based CCTV cameras will also be installed in many major places and fair areas. Till now one thousand CCTVs have been installed at various places. All these cameras will be directly connected to the control room. Devotees coming and going from here will be directly monitored. Apart from this, 80 VMD TV screens will be installed at various places in the city.
Through this, various important information will be displayed. More than 25 crore devotees are likely to attend the Mahakumbh. In such a situation, AI based real time alert CCTVs with crowd management system are also being installed in the fair area, the route leading to the fair and on major routes of the city. Separate arrangements are being made in the control room for its monitoring.
A dedicated 50 seater call center is being set up for the Mahakumbh Fair Helpline 1920, where policemen will be deployed 24 hours a day. All these moment-to-moment updates will be shared with the officials. If any suspicious person, object or any other place gathers too much crowd, we will inform the concerned post and police station so that the crowd can be reduced from there. Also, real time alert CCTV will play an important role in preventing the crowd from gathering at one place.
Considering the number of devotees, a lot of focus is being laid on parking. Parking arrangements are being made here for more than five lakh vehicles. Strict security arrangements are being made at these places also. AI based parking management system will be adopted here for better parking management. Through this, every vehicle will be monitored. Like what time did the vehicle come, how long did it stay in the parking lot and when did it leave the parking lot and where did it go etc.
