Varanasi| Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Varanasi on 20 October. Complete preparations have been made for his visit. Varanasi Divisional Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma gave information in this regard.

He said, preparations for the arrival of the Prime Minister have been completed. Their tour will take place in the afternoon and will last about 6-7 hours. During this time, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 23 projects in Varanasi, with a total cost of Rs 611 crore. These projects include Shankar Hospital and Civil Aviation Airport.”

He said, “This is a big gift for Varanasi, which includes projects worth about Rs 3200 crore. Apart from this, projects worth about Rs 3400 crore will be inaugurated and foundation stone laid in other parts of the country also.”

He said, a big public meeting will be organized at “Varanasi Sports Complex, where the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of the projects. Apart from this, an event will also be organized at Sigra Stadium, in which an NCO will be set up to train national level players. Here every type of facility will be provided to the players, so that they can be given proper training in a particular sport. The players here were always demanding a sports complex, in view of which this step was taken. This move is causing a wave of joy among players.”

He said, “This visit is an important occasion for Varanasi and Uttar Pradesh, in which various projects will be inaugurated and foundation stones will be laid, which will help in the development of the city At the same time, complete preparations are being made to tighten the security arrangements. Security personnel will be deployed at various places. Special attention will be kept on all types of activities. At the moment, all preparations have been finalized.”
