Donate lamps online on ‘Ek Diya Ram Ke Naam’ Deepotsav

Ayodhya| ‘Ek Diya Ram Ke Naam’ program is being launched by the Development Authority on the occasion of Deepotsav-2024. For many years, on the occasion of Chhoti Diwali, a grand festival of lights is organized on the banks of Saryu in Ayodhya in which the Prime Minister, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other dignitaries participate as special guests from time to time.

This year also Deepotsav is being organized on 30th October. Lakhs of devotees from India and abroad aspire to participate in this festival. There are many devotees who could not participate in the festival, but want to contribute to this festival of lamps by donating lamps through online medium.

Keeping in mind such devotion of the devotees, this year also on the occasion of Deepotsav Mahaparva, a program named after Diya Ram is to be organised. At the same time, on Thursday, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University administration formed 22 committees under the direction of the Vice Chancellor regarding the grand organization of Deepotsav. Besides, the work of marking on the ghats including Ram Ki Paidi is also being carried forward rapidly.
Vice Chairman of Ayodhya Development Authority, Ashwani Kumar Pandey said that through this program, devotees sitting in the country and abroad will be able to donate money as per their wish through online medium.

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University Administration has constituted 22 committees for the grand organization of Deepotsav under the direction of the Vice Chancellor. Among them, Vice Chancellor Prof. Pratibha Goyal is the chairman in the coordination committee and Deepotsav nodal officer Prof. Sant Sharan Mishra, officers and 20 members are included.
Apart from this, Disciplinary Committee, Safety Committee, Material Distribution Committee, Deep Counting Committee, Food Committee, Traffic Committee, Sanitation Committee, Photography and Media Committee, Quick Action Force Committee, First Aid Committee, Furnishing/Rangoli Committee, Supervisor Committee, Fire Committee, Overall Control and Supervision Committee, Office Committee, Tender and Purchase Committee, Volunteer and Icard Committee, Institutional Coordination Committee, Training Committee, Material Receipt/Storage/Residue Committee and Ghat Marking Committee have been formed. The coordinators, co-coordinators and members of all the committees have intensified war-level work to make Deepotsav supernatural.
