New Delhi| This time the central government has approved infrastructure projects worth Rs 15 lakh crore within 100 days after assuming office. Along with this, 12 industrial nodes will be developed, which will provide employment to 4 million youth. Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, Dr. Jitendra Singh said this at a program organized on the occasion of distributing certificates and honoring young talents at Daulat Ram College, Delhi University. Addressing the students, he said that it has been a wonderful journey, as India has come a long way from a weak five to a top five in the last 10 years.

Dr. Jitendra Singh recalled the self-certification initiative for the first time just a few months after the formation of the Modi government. He said that now the youth do not have to go to any gazetted officer for authentication of documents. This shows how much trust this government has in the youth.

The Union Minister said that there were allegations that despite getting good marks in the written examination, candidates seeking government services were getting less marks in the interview. The government found a solution to this and the provision of interviews in Group C and below services of the Government of India has been abolished.

Regarding startups, he said, “Our government promoted and accelerated this concept in the country. Before the year 2014 there were only 350-375 startups, the number of which has now reached about 3.75 lakhs. We now rank third in the world for startups.”

He said that if India wants to become developed by 2047, it will have to set global standards and the country has started working rapidly in this direction. He described the students as the torchbearers of India of 2047 and called upon them to lead “Developed India 2047”. He said that the reforms in the last 10 years have filled Indian youth with confidence and increased their respect globally.
