Content
1 cup cashew nuts
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
1 tablespoon ghee
Silver work for decoration (optional)

Method of making
1. First of all, soak cashews in water for about 2 hours. Then filter them and dry them thoroughly. You can also use raw cashews without soaking them, but soaking makes them easier to grind.
2. Now grind cashew nuts in a blender or food processor and make fine powder. Keep in mind that do not mix them too much, as they can turn into a paste.
3, After this add sugar and water in a pan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Cook it until it reaches a wired consistency.
4. When the syrup is ready, reduce the flame and add cashew powder and cardamom powder and mix well.
5, Stir it continuously for about 5-7 minutes, until the mixture thickens and begins to release the pan edges. Then add ghee to it and mix.
6. Now place this prepared mixture on the greased container or parchment paper. Flatten it to the desired thickness with the help of a cylinder. Then let it cool for a few minutes.
7. Once it cools down, cut the cashew katli into diamond or square shapes. If using silver work, place it on top of the mixture before cutting.
Now let it cool completely and then store in an airtight container.
